ADVENTURE IN WWII', Now nearly after fifty years after
this little diary was begun, Jean Tool finally managed to transcribed his barely legible
manuscript to typewritten words. Jean kept a Diary from when he departed the USA on
September 20, 1944, for his overseas assignment (destination unknown), through April 21,
1945 when he gave up recording in any detail his experiences. He did manage after
that to record a large number of experiences, which were noted at the time and transcribed
into type for this book. Add to that, that Jean was also a very, very good doodler,
his b/w sketches that are found through out the book are outstanding. This book is a
definite must have for the CBI enthusiast, for the one who wants in on some of the inside
