"CBI Memorial Society" & Cyber-Basha

This website is part of a group of CBI-related websites created by CBI historians/enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation of the legacy and memory of those brave men and women who fought in the theater that became known as the "Forgotten Theater".

We are also interested in carrying on the legacy the now-defunct CBI Veterans Association (CBIVA), which terminated operations in September 2005. The total scope of this effort has not been set in stone, but we envision a "Cyber Basha" where former CBIVA members and CBI enthusiasts can continue their legacy on the internet - a forum such as "The United States Army Air Forces in W.W.II" website, http://www.armyairforces.com..

We are also interested in collecting any and all CBI BASHA memorabilia from Bashas that have disbanded (i.e. banners, pennants, hats, publications, etc.). It is envisioned that these items be donated to a museum to be determined, such as the Museum of Aviation at Warner-Robins AFB, GA, the current home of the Hump Pilots Association display.
